After 37 years living in the Boston area, I moved to Cleveland at the end of July to start a new church position (more on that in subsequent videos). It took all of six days to find myself at ground zero for a major severe weather event. Four tornadoes and a macroburst were confirmed. One of the tornadoes was embedded in the macroburst.
As it turned out, I ended up in the middle of the macroburst. My chase consisted of zigzagging through the (for now) relatively unfamiliar streets of Cleveland's eastern suburbs at rush hour, mostly through Beachwood, Gates Mills, and Chesterland on U.S. 322 (Mayfield Road).
